The Carmel Weightlifting Club is focused on developing youth and teen weightlifters in our area. Our program is designed and instructed by experienced USAW coaches who will focus on improving lifters technique, strength, and power.
Within our classes, youth and junior lifters participate in a safe environment with emphasis placed on achieving excellent technique. To attain this, lifters are progressed through several developmental stages before moving into completing the full lifts.
- Doug has been coaching within the Carmel community for the past five years and as a middle school teacher has a great deal of experience working with youth/teen athletes. As a weightlifting coach, Doug has worked extensively with local Crossfit gyms the past 3 years to develop improved athletes and competitive weightlifters.
- USAW Level One Sports Performance Coach
